One of the most memorable wedding in Bury St Edmunds was Paul and Donna's at Blackthorpe Barn.
It was an Autumn Wedding on lovely clear crisp autumn day. The disco lighting was stunning with some of the best ever lighting it's been my pleasure to photograph.

The reception was at a country pub and in the summer would have had a beautiful garden, but this was April and too early for shots in the garden so I had to work with nothing - no background nothing.
I waited for it to start to get dark then set up some lights outside with a (in daylight very boring!) lake as the background but used the lighting to accentuate the couple and detract attention from the background. I got everything set then called out the bride and groom and said, "just forget I'm here - do whatever you feel like"
