BRIDAL PHOTOSHOOTS are an amazing opportunity for many wedding suppliers to get together to do what they do best but in a more relaxed setting than the normal flat out, no second chance setting we're used to.
Hence why I again organised a Bridal Shoot as a way to get back in the groove after the Covid Lockdowns of 2020/21.
Whilst it took many emails and calls to pull everything together for the day it was so worth it.
Thanks to all the collaborators :-
The VENUE - Lanwades Hall - a truly beautiful wedding venue near Newmarket in Suffolk with amazing bridal suite and other guest bedrooms. Superb decor and hugh well kept picturesque gardens.
The DRESSES and FLOWERS - by Bride and Bloom of Brandon. A real one stop shop for any Bride with a huge variety of dresses and flowers to order. AND suits for him too!
The MAKEUP by Emma B Beauty - it's always a tough choice between having makeup that really stands out but also something subtle that aligns with the occasion - Emma got it perfectly right.
And finally VIDEOGRAPHY by Ric of Greyhound Creative - whilst I create a 3 to 4 minute "hilite" video at every wedding it's not easy. Firstly actually filming the right things in the right way and then editing together to create something pleasing to watch. Ric did it all perfectly.
As a Documentary Photographer in Suffolk I spend most of a wedding day with the Bride and Groom in order to be able to capture all the "moments and memories" throughout their weddng day.
It starts with Brides prep with candid hair and make up shots, the some similar shots with the groom and "the guys" before the wedding ceremony.
After that I mingle unobtrusively with the wedding guests and capture everything that helps tell the story of their wedding day. It's not just about getting fairly tale wedding photos (although I DO get a few of these too!) but about having a photographic story to tell.
