Cambridge Wedding at Childerley Long Barn

ED AND SOPHIE'S BEAUTIFUL CHURCH WEDDING FOLLOWED BY THE RECEPTION AT THE WONDERFUL CHILDERLEY LONG BARN IN CAMBRIDGE

Cambridge Documentary Wedding Photo

It began the previous summer with Ed&Sophie's engagement shoot .....

The actual wedding day began at Wallis Farmhouse in Suffolk with the Brides Prep.

The Brides Prep is for me a great way to start the days wedding photography; it allows me to gently become part of the day, getting familiar with the bridesmaids, the H&MU artists and hair stylists. I start with the wedding details like jewelry, perfume shoes and dresses so everyone gets used to me being there before moving onto people.

In Ed and Sophies case they had a gorgeous vintage american car as transport to the church wedding so it was important to get shots of Sophie's arrival at the church....

Brides Arrival the The church

I LOVE Church weddings They just seem to offer beautiful settings and opportunities for great documentary wedidng photography. From the bride walking up the aisle to the first kiss - and of course they last about twice as long as the usual registry office wedding ceremony.

Now the fun really starts....

The rest of the wedding day is a blur of documentary, candid wedding photography - confetti, speeches, cake cutting and first dance and a hundred other shots that make documentary wedding photography the only way to record a wedding day.

Ok, there are some "organised" family and group shots and even a few minutes with the Bride and Groom getting some "staged" (but NEVER posed) shots.

So here's a quick glimpse of the rest of Ed and Sophies day - oh and must mention the "Singing waiter" - he was just unbelieveable!

I cover weddings in a documentary photography style in East Anglia and Southern UK including London. My aim is to give you a set of wedding photos that tell the story of your wedding day as it reall was. The highs and lows, the emotion and moments from beginning to end.

Just get in touch for more details....
