Perry and Carin's Wet Wedding at Ipswich Town Hall
I opened an email with the subject, "booking enquiry".
I like these emails!
Unlike most where they couple are asking about me being their wedding photographer next year or even the year after this was for 3 weeks time!
As it wasn't a Saturday I was actually free - but there was more - "and would you and your wife also be our witnesses?"
So Perry and Carin had arranged their wedding at Ipswich Town Hall super quick and planned on it being just them and the legally required 2 witnesses. For such an unusual event I jumped at the chance.
And so the day arrived with a weather forecast of non stop rain. For some weddings this would be a really big deal and curtail many things planned for the day. For these two it made no difference other than getting some couple shots outside the Town Hall rather than a quick ride to Christchurch Park.

Firstly, a big thank you to you both for helping make our day so special and memorable. The rain definitely didn’t stop it being perfect and actually we both said it looks nice in the pictures with the added effect of it.
We absolutely love the photos and are so glad we chose you to capture our day, it’s been lovely to look back and watch the video aswell, as I’m sure you’ll agree too the day itself goes so quickly and a bit of a blur of emotions and happiness.
