Photos hold the key to our memories and evoke feelings of happiness, joy and positivity whenever we look back at them.
This is one reason I think it is so important to take the time to reflect on all the great times you’ve enjoyed and to look back on the memories that mean the most – especially during this time of national crisis when making new ones has been put on hold
When was the last time you took a moment to reflect?
Even when things feel uncertain, there are plenty of ways to add a moment of happiness to our day. From photographs through to treasured memories and beloved stories we love to tell,
I think now is a great time to think about what brings you the most joy.
At this time when you may find yourself with time on your hands, maybe you could dig out your old photos, scroll through your camera roll and take a moment to enjoy the nostalgia.
Whether it's recalling a holiday you’ve previously enjoyed, looking at photos of your children throughout the years, or days out in the sun we all recall memories through photographs
As a professional photographer I REALLY understand the importance of photographs - which is why I got to great lengths to ensure my clients, be they a wedding couple, a family or a boudoir client - I always work passionately to create the best images possible as I know they'll be looked at for decades to come. Sometimes there's a sad side - last year I photographed an 80th birthday party; three months later I got an email telling me that she had passed away at that my photos were the last ones they had of her and thanking me for them.
That really brings home the importance of photographs
So maybe, when we're all allowed out to play again I could create some superb photos of you and your family, cover your wedding or maybe a boudoir shoot to boost your confidence. This enforced period with your family and loved ones along with the heart breaking news of the number of deaths from Covid-19 probably reinforces the importance of family and those we love. Get in touch to pre-book a shoot once this is all over.
