What is lifestyle portrait photography?

My definition is a photography of a person taken outside of a studio that encompasses some aspect of the environment.
WHY?
What has Lifestyle Portrait Photography to offer that a portrait shoot in a studio can't?
1) LIGHT
Natural light is always more interesting than the artificial light needed in a studio. It might vary from dark and moody with storm clouds in the background to brilliant summer sunshine. It doesn't matter as it simply makes for more interesting and flattering portrait photos.

2) LOCATION
The whole vibe of the photo can be easily transformed by a 5 minute drive - from city centre to beach or maybe a barley field. And this all looks real! Agreed that in a photographers studio there'll be backdrops but real? NO
3) LOOK
Photography studios are only so big. They don't have "real" backgrounds and settings but with Lifestyle Portrait Photography there's unlimited space and opportunity for all kinds of angles and permits the use of various focal length lenses that can transform the images into other world dreamy shots.
