I've primarily been a wedding photographer for the last 10 years (but have done about 100 portrait shoots along the way!) but now find it more rewarding to create beautiful, timeless images of people in a natural setting. I dislike the artificialness (is that a word?) of a studio and prefer the naturalness of outdoor photos, or photos in your home.
WHY?
My STYLE of portrait photography is NOT the clinical, precise and exact photography you'll get from a studio portrait shoot.
My style is all about you.
It's about creating beautiful images of you (or you and your partner or family etc.) that "say" something about you. Ok, you want to look good of course but I want to capture fun if that's who you are, maybe you're more romantic so let's get photos that show that. It's YOUR portrait photo not my shoot to get photos for my Instagram feed.
Sometimes your home makes the perfect setting and we can do the shoot there, maybe a beach on a sunny day or we'll wait for snow and get dressed up warm. Whatever ideas you have we can do!
