When it comes to weddings it's hard to beat a Church Wedding

There's just something magical and traditional about them - whilst many couples will shun them on religious grounds which is totally fine, for those who do choose a Church Wedding they can be assured of fantastic photo opportunities.

Some Wedding Venues, like Ravenwood Hall in Bury St Edmunds and Helmingham Hall in Suffolk are superb locations with character and gardens to die; they also have the advantage of the whole wedding taking place in just one location. Downside is cost. Church Weddings do tend to be a lot less costly than magnificent country houses and for me as a photographer offer more interesting opportunities to create super photos of your wedding day.

I hear complaints from some wedding photographers about "how dark" it was in Church and how they couldn't find an easy position to photograph the wedding ceremony and so on. The whole point is that it's these things that make Church Weddings special - having to photograph the service through a carved wooden lattice, or standing on a pew is all part of why I love Church Weddings.
I then match the "style" of the photos to the day - sometimes it's bright, sunny and all about fun, sometimes it's (I'm afraid) wet, windy and dark - these require totally different styling to bring out the best in the photos rather than a simple " this is my style" approach where one size fits all.

For me it's about creating wedding photos that match your day.

For 2020 I'm really want to do more Church Weddings - I usually would do maybe 8 or so but for next year I really want to do more.

So I have created a

I'll arrive at the Church before anyone arrives and get photos (and video!) of everyone's arrival - especially the Bride of course. Also the Church itself, the flowers, rings and so on.

Then the whole service (with again video) and gathering outside for the not to be missed confetti photos, group shots and a few staged shots with the Bride and Groom.

Off (in a special car? or Horse and carriage?) to the reception where I'll stay until first dance to capture all the afternoon's action as well as a few staged photos of the bride and groom.
Included is an Album,  20 minute Video, Online Gallery and Canvas and enlargements.

If You have a Church Wedding in 2020 or 2021 and like the idea of having photos that go beyond simply "this is what happened"  and become artwork with you and your day as the focus then please pop your details in the box below and I'll send over my Special CHURCH WEDDING BROCHURE with all the details.

I'd love to create timeless memories for you so I wait to hear...
